The 2018 year will start with 2 activities that we propose.
Our consolidated workshops in “Sustainable Tourism in Fragile Environments” and “Places and Local Communities facing changes” will host again all students in will to discover or deepen these topics.

Sustainable Tourism in Fragile Environments workshop is proposing the study of the environmental, social and cultural characteristics of the Maldivian Tourism System. A specific focus is dedicated to the “One Island – One Resort” model and to the national policies concerning community-based and sustainable tourism, while Places and Local Communities Facing Changes workshop is focused at understanding how local communities cope with cultural, environmental, political and social changes within isolated geographical context.
